The Alpine Skiing
Only 5 minutes from the hotel, there is the small ski resort of Ollomont, ideal for beginners and families. As well as the ski slopes, a large snow park awaits you here for fun glides with bobsleighs and sledges. The more experienced skiers can enjoy the sunny and quiet slopes of Crevacol (25min) or the more famous Pila (15 min). It is possible to book ski lessons directly at the reception of the hotel.
The Cross Country
The Valpelline is the best place for cross-country skiing. In Bionaz, just 5 km from the Hostellerie Le Lievre Amoureux, there is a cross-country track which has been approved for the national biathlon race. Here you can choose from tracks of 2, 3 and 5 km that suit all levels of difficulty. 3 km from the hotel, in front of the alpine skiing slope, it is possible to experience the magical feeling of cross-country skiing during the evenings. We highly recommend trying the 7,5 km track which is lighted – and so can be used after your dinner.
The Ski Mountaineering
Enchanting peaks and breath-taking wallons. These are the routes reachable with only after long trips. The Aosta Valley is one of the most desirable places to practice this exclusive way of skiing. For those interested in freeriding, the ski resorts of Pila and Crevacol have wide open spaces in which ski floating on the freshest snow.
The Snowshoeing
Nature and quiet. For those who want to experience the snow, but not on the ski slopes, the Cretaz family has exactly what you need. We can provide you with snowshoes, with which it is possible to reach the furthest corners of the valley where you will be alone with immaculate snow, nature and perfect quietness.
